How does a 2x gather rate change a wipe?

You collect ore, wood and stone twice as fast, so the early game compresses. Where vanilla might take a weekend to reach a defended base and firearms, 2x servers often get you there in an evening. Everything else — combat damage, building costs, map size — stays as it is unless the owner has changed other settings.

Why do 2x servers sit in the modded tab?

Facepunch requires any server that alters gather rates, stack sizes or loot to declare itself modded. That rule puts nearly every 2x server in the Modded tab, and a doubled rate shown on an official or community server would be a breach of it. The tab is a label, not a judgement on how the server plays.

Does a 2x server wipe blueprints as well as the map?

That is the owner's call and it varies between servers. Map wipes follow the server's own schedule plus the monthly forced wipe, while blueprint wipes may happen weekly, monthly or on the same cycle. Neither this table nor the rate tag records that choice, so check the server's page or its Discord before you commit to a base.

Rank is the catalogue number: RS-070 is the 70th server on players over the last seven days. The bar under the players is how full the server is; the light curve its players hour by hour. Next wipe is an estimate (~) unless it is the force wipe (FW); hover a time for the reason.
